Gimoshent

Home of the largest library in the former Girai Empire, Gimoshent is an inland minor power in its own right, with many agricultural ties to other regions. It’s currently annexing more territory to the south-east, forming itself into a small nation as opposed to a city-state.

Rulership of Gimoshent currently belongs to Chief Droverson Shaneiros, a Half-Elf career politician. He’s a fairly easy-going man who is staunchly opposed to the Girai Empire’s reformation.

Gimoshent began as a small tribal community of Half-Elves that decided to settle permanently on the Great Plain. The title of “chief” is all that remains of the city’s formerly nomadic lifestyle, with the Library being founded several hundred years ago to cement the then growing city’s dedication to knowledge and learning. Many artifacts of great power and value make their home in the library, and it is currently watched over by its librarian, and Eladrin Wizard who seems more interested in reading his own private texts and exchanging volumes with Verche in Twin River than actually seeing to the care and organization of the tomes held in the Library.
